what kind of groups stay here?
All groups whose values align with The Ojo are welcome...
Over the years many groups have assembled here on The Ojo. Some to work in a ‘School’ up the road, others to be on the land in ceremony, and some just to be here. The Ojo is an interface between urban living and desert wilderness. The Rio Ojo Caliente is a ribbon oasis for animals and humans alike. The Ojo is also a place where people come to connect and reconnect in a welcoming landscape of grass, trees, desert sands and flowing water. Our infrastructure is geared to handle up to 20 adults.

facilities
Groups have access to all structures, trails etc.
Our facilities have expanded and evolved over the years. Our all weather pavilion is where groups cook and store food, assemble, use the high speed wi-fi, or just hang out. A full kitchen makes food prep a snap, and two showers, one outdoors, are readily accessible. Two spectacular bridges get folks from the campground to the pavilion along easy trails with low key lighting at night. The 26′ Hogan with its adobe floor and vaulted ceiling is an inspiring place to gather. The campground lies along the banks of the Rio Ojo Caliente, a truly wild river. What more should you know?
Important things you should know…
We want all people who visit here to make sure they have made the right choice. Walking on the land as much as possible is highly encouraged and because of this we limit driving to the pavilion for loading and unloading only. Groups should have their own group insurance, camping gear etc. The Ojo can help out with some tents etc. for an extra charge, so please inquire. We are not amenable to wheelchairs, and young children should be supervised at all times. The Ojo is wildlife friendly and in over ten years we know of no negative encounter between visitors and any animals. We do not allow pets. Click here and the links below for additional information that you NEED to know before coming here.
